New Found Glory’s Chad Gilbert is cancer-free once again! After sharing in January that he was cancer-free, Gilbert unfortunately received news that he had a new tumor and would need additional surgery. But, he’s now recovered from the procedure and is doing well.

Chad was first diagnosed with stage 3 melanoma in 2017. He underwent treatment and was declared cancer-free in 2018. However, in January 2023, he revealed that he had been diagnosed with cancer again. This time, it was a lymphoma. He received treatment and was again declared cancer-free in January 2023. Then, in February, he announced that he would need another surgery to remove a new tumor.

This was a difficult time for Gilbert and his fans, but he’s proven to be a fighter and is now back to full health. He’s shared his journey publicly, and his bravery has inspired countless people. It’s great to see that he’s doing well and can focus on his music and family.
